Lira's new album is absolutely stunning, in fact it makes me proud of South African music.
It's a light combination of 'Cafe del mar' sounds and deep drum and base backgrounds. It's great for getting the party started and also for relaxing on a hot Sunday afternoon.
The lyrics are catchy and even if you don't understand the language in some of the songs you will find yourself memorising the words and singing along anyway.
Songs to look out for include: Ixesha and feel good. I have a sneaking suspicion that both will be topping the charts in weeks to come.
