Beach House is a relatively unknown band for South African’s. Their music is rarely heard on the radio but this doesn’t mean they aren’t great...their just a bit different.
Their songs are dreamy and have a distinctly beach vibe- as their name suggests. The songs are gritty and tell the tale of love not always ending happily.
Teen Dream- the latest of Beach Houses offerings has a variety of dark lyrics scattered between their acoustic guitar solos.
Don’t think they are anything like Ben Harper... think more ‘ emo’.
