Born in 1963 Ian Naismith is a highly acclaimed composer, musician and
surreal guitarist based in Texas Florida. An eclectic artist, it’s very difficult
to pin down and specifically categorize his genre but it is rooted in what is
called ethno ambient. He very masterfully blends
ancient/acoustic with the modern/technological whist maintaining a prominent presence
of progressive rock, jazz, fusion and musique concrete. His 23rd album,
Jupiter Octopi is scheduled to release this Friday and could make a great gift
for any lover of
intricate alternative music.
