This weekend marked the much anticipated release
of Mumford & Sons 2nd album, Babel.
After the unprecedented successes of their debut
LP, it’s difficult to imagine how Mumford & Sons could ever really surpass
the masterpiece that was Sigh No More.
Babel doesn’t boast a significant progression from it
predecessor but, in all honesty, this won’t faze you! The same sing-along, contemporary-folk,
foot-stomping signature sound that the Mumford & Sons have perfected is
just as fresh and infectious as ever. And Babel
is just brimming with it!
