'Lira Live in Concert' is the new Blu-ray that's a must have for fan of the jazzy Lira. Launched by Sony Music JUST yesterday Lira is setting a trend we think many musicians will soon follow in SA.Ecstatic with her achievement, Lira says that our "generation of Africans honestly believe we can compete with the best in the world and this is an example of that". Filmed in front of an electric crowd of 3800 people at Carnival City's Big Top Arena last year we think our first-lady of SA music has set more than just a record of being the first SA artist to release a live in concert Blu-ray DVD. Although only launched yesterday, it DVD has been available for a week and has already sold 1600 copies (at R200) so hop into line and get one quick!
