The Arcade Fire have been feted since the release of their début album Funeral a few years back, and rightly so - Win Butler and his band are a fantastic alternative rock outfit.
The Suburbs, their latest album, is their best to date. Whilst The Arcade Fire started as a fully formed prospect and raced out of the blocks with their first two albums, this is their most consistent to date.
Soaring anthems and acoustic strums are sequenced to perfection, and each song is a revelation. It will be very interesting to see where The Arcade Fire go from here as this album is faultless but given what we have heard of this band so far, one suspects they might just find a way.
